Estoril Villas is a modern, self-catering apartment at the popular Diaz Beach, Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa on the beautiful Garden Route.

The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and a twin room. The main bedroom is en-suite with a sea view. There is another separate bathroom and open plan fully equipped kitchen/lounge with washing machine and dryer. There is a barbeque on the balcony overlooking the ocean with table and chairs.

Long sandy beaches, a heated pool, day spa, entertainment for the children and lovely restaurants, all within walking distance, makes this the ideal holiday location! Mossel Bay, Hartenbos and the Langeberg shopping mall is only 5 minutes away by car. There are numerous activities for all ages: Swimming, shark diving, whale and dolphin watching, fishing, hiking, surf training, golf and horse riding.

  • • 10th December to 8th January: R2500/night
  • • 1st December to 9th December, 25th July to 31st August and including Easter holidays: R1650/night
  • • 1st September to 29th September, 10th October to 31st October, 15th June to 20th July: R1000/night
  • • All other dates outside of SA school holidays: R950/night

Discounts are available depending on the number of people and length of stay.

A 50% confirmation fee is required in order to secure any accommodation booking.

The full amount is due by the Client and shall be payable in full prior to the date of arrival.

Bookings are only confirmed once the 50% deposit has been received and the client has received a booking confirmation form from us.

Cancellations

In the event of premature departure we may charge for the full original booking.

• Cancellation 0 - 14 days before date of arrival: deposit non-refundable.

• Cancellation 14 - 28 days before date of arrival – deposit only refundable if another booking is made to replace the existing booking.

• Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival – full deposit will be refunded.

Additional info

Guests are welcome to check-in from 3:00pm onwards on the day of arrival. Early or very late arrivals are by prior arrangement only.

Guests are required to check-out by 10 am on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible, however by prior arrangement only.

Should Estoril Villa Apartment suffer any loss or damage as a result of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred and will be billed accordingly.

The owner at all times reserves the full right of admission and accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may result from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights.

GoFish Mossel Bay

For deep sea fishing in Mossel Bay there is no team better than GoFish Mossel Bay Deep sea Fishing Charters.

A fleet of 2 Butt Cat fishing charter boats, SAMSA safety registered, operate from the Mossel Bay fishing harbor when the weather allows. We normally leave early in the morning for our fishing trips (night fishing trips are also available) and have excellent catch rates of a wide variety of fish species. Our fishing charter boats are fully equipped with the best gear and our skippers have years of experience fishing the banks and reefs in the Mossel Bay and Stilbaai areas.

Monkeyland

Monkeyland – the world’s first free-roaming multi-species primate sanctuary (located in The Crags, near Plettenberg Bay) - offers tours (we call them monkey safaris) during which you’ll see more than 550 primates comprising of capuchin monkeys, ringtail and black-and-white ruffed lemurs, saki monkeys, squirrel monkeys, vervet monkeys, 2 species of langur, howler monkeys, gibbons, etc in their forest home. You will also experience our 128-metre suspended canopy walk whilst on tour. There’s also a restaurant, souvenir store, and viewing deck. Our safari guides are multi-lingual (English, Afrikaans, German, Dutch, French, and Spanish).

Knysna Elephant Park
The Knysna Elephant Park (est. 1994) was the first facility in South Africa to house and care for orphaned African elephants. Over the last twenty years, the park has cared for and raised more than forty elephants. These animals include relocated animals, orphaned calves, elephants rescued from culls and ex-circus animals. Some have become part of the resident herd, others have moved onto other reserves and facilities in the Western and Eastern Cape, depending on their personalities, bonds with other animals and welfare needs.

Pinnacle Point Caves
“The earliest evidence for modern human behavior.” The Pinnacle Point Caves have been the subject of intensive study since 2000 by the SACP4 Project (South African Coastal Palaeoclimate, Palaeoenvironment, Palaeoecology, and Palaeoanthropology Project), under the direction of Professor Curtis Marean of the Institute of Human Origins at Arizona State University.
Romonza Boat Trips
Romonza Boat Trips has been operating for more than 25 years in Mossel Bay. Romonza offers Seal Island Trips (all year round), Eco Ocean Trips (all year round), Sunset Cruises (November to April) and Boat Based Whale Watching with permit (July to October). Fully qualified Tourist Guides on all our boat trips.
Bartolomeu Dias Museum
The Dias Museum Complex is situated near the beach, shops, restaurants, banks and the tourist information center. Inside the Maritime Museum is a shop where postcards, stamps, books, souvenirs and small gifts can be bought. On the grounds of the Dias Museum Complex are mountain tortoises, ducks and museum cat. In the Granary there are conference facilities available for 48 people or if used in cinema style, seating for up to 100 people. Catering can be arranged. Mail from the shoe is collected twice a day (once a day out of season) by the Post Office. Whales can be observed from the museum grounds during June to November.

Pinnacle Point Golf Course

The Pinnacle Point Golf Course is something truly unique for the discerning golfer. This 18 hole championship golf course was designed by well-known South African golf course architect Peter Matkovich who opened the course together with top Irish Tour Golf Professional Darren Clarke in November 2006.

Darren Clarke, who was also involved with many aspects of the Pinnacle Point course design, has said that Pinnacle Point is “... the best golf course on the planet.” Pinnacle Point was selected as one of the Top Ten New Golf Courses of the World by the American publication Travel & Leisure in January 2007.
